QUALITY ASSURANCE

Consistency In Every Batch, Excellence In Every Component

At Chintal Brass Products, quality is an engineered standard, not a final inspection. Our facility operates under a rigorous Total Quality Management (TQM) framework, where every component—from a 3 mm micro-insert to a 75 mm industrial fitting—undergoes a multi-stage validation process. We utilize a sophisticated arsenal of metrology instruments, including digital profile projectors, air gauges, and micro-calibrated thread plug gauges, ensuring absolute dimensional accuracy within ±0.01 mm. By integrating in-process monitoring with final batch testing, we eliminate deviations and guarantee that every shipment meets international standards such as DIN, JIS, and ASTM.

Inspection Gauges

The backbone of the Chintal Brass Products quality framework is a climate-controlled inspection lab equipped with world-class measuring instruments. To maintain our signature ±0.01 mm tolerance, we utilize high-resolution digital profile projectors for 2D contour analysis and optical sorting systems for high-volume batch consistency. Our technical team employs a comprehensive array of Mitutoyo digital micrometers, vernier calipers, and precision air gauges to verify every internal and external dimension. Furthermore, every threaded component is validated using calibrated Go/No-Go plug and ring gauges to ensure perfect fitment and interchangeability in global assemblies.

QUALITY CONTROL

Engineered For Precision, Controlled For Perfection

At Chintal Brass Products, Quality Control (QC) is a systematic process integrated into every stage of production, from raw material inflow to the final dispatch of precision components. We operate on a Zero-Defect Philosophy, ensuring that our non-ferrous parts — whether brass, copper, or stainless steel — perform flawlessly in high-stress industrial and electrical environments. Our QC lab functions as an independent body, auditing every production run against international standards such as ISO, DIN, and ASTM.

The Four Pillars of Our QC Process :

1

Incoming Material Inspection:

Every batch of raw material is subjected to chemical composition analysis using Optical Emission Spectrometers. We verify the copper, zinc, and lead content to ensure the alloy meets the specific grade requirements for machinability and durability.

2

In-Process Quality Control:

During the CNC and VMC machining cycles, operators and floor supervisors conduct periodic checks at 30-minute intervals. This prevents "tool wear" from affecting dimensions and ensures that the ±0.01 mm tolerance is maintained throughout the production shift.

3

Visual & Aesthetic Audit:

Components are inspected for surface defects such as burrs, tool marks, or oxidation. For plated components (Nickel, Tin, or Chrome), we perform Adhesion and Salt Spray Tests to ensure the coating will not peel or corrode under harsh environmental conditions.

4

Final Quality Assurance:

Before packaging, a final statistical sample (AQL - Acceptance Quality Limit) or 100% inspection is performed. We use calibrated Go/No-Go Gauges to verify thread pitch and depth, ensuring seamless integration into your final assembly.
